Kevin Kemmerer

INTERIM CEO & EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN

Kevin Kemmerer is a leader in the technology industry, bringing close to 30 years of software expertise to Clearlake Capital and Dude Solutions. Kevin joined Clearlake Capital as an Operating Executive in 2020. As a member of Clearlake’s Executive Council, Kevin works with the executives of Clearlake’s software portfolio companies to improve performance and unlock value in their companies. He began his career as a software developer in the financial services industry and moved on to be a Management Consultant at Deloitte Consulting and a Mergers & Acquisitions executive at Broadview (now Jefferies, Inc.). Kevin helped launch Kennet Capital in the US, Broadview’s growth-stage venture capital fund. Later in his career, Kevin served as EVP and Managing Director of Safeguard Scientifics (NYSE: SFE) and as an Executive-In-Residence at Warburg Pincus where he focused on healthcare IT investments. Prior to joining Clearlake, he was EVP of Product at iPipeline, a SaaS software company focused on the insurance market. Kevin holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BE in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Vanderbilt University.

Brian Bell

SVP Strategy & Corporate Development

Brian began his career guiding organizations through the technology revolution of moving their business processes to the cloud. After nearly a decade of successfully delivering solutions to Fortune 500 companies and federal agencies, Brian cofounded two SaaS companies. GroupLynx, LLC leveraged web technologies to enhance school campus security and communication, and CommLogix, Inc. supported environmental and operational efficiencies in public buildings by leveraging smart building technologies.

In 2006, Brian joined the founding management team of FacilityDude, the commercial-market focused sister company to SchoolDude. Since that time, Brian has served in a variety of roles across product development, product marketing, strategy and corporate development. He currently leads corporate strategy, alliance management and M&A for Dude Solutions. Brian is a graduate of Wake Forest University.

Brian Benfer

SVP SALES

Brian Benfer is a data-oriented and values driven sales leader who has spent his career developing sales teams for high-growth SaaS companies. Brian believes if you obsess over client experience, you’re guaranteed to deliver the best results for your clients and employees. Prior to joining Dude Solutions, Brian served as VP of North American Sales for SolarWinds, focusing on delivering security solutions to their clients, on their way to a 2018 IPO. He also led SMB Sales for Citrix ShareFile, taking the sales team from a local Raleigh startup to a market leader in the content collaboration space over several years of exponential growth. Brian is a graduate of North Carolina State University.

Tara Bridgeman

VP of Human Resources

Tara has served in many HR roles and has a passion for developing employees by coaching them to reach their full potential. As VP of Human Resources, Tara manages talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, payroll, people strategies and engagement programs. Prior to this role, Tara served as the Director of Talent Management at Dude Solutions. Prior to joining Dude Solutions, Tara served in multiple HR leadership roles in Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations at Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC.

Catherine Harrell

Chief Marketing Officer

Catherine Harrell is a passionate leader who is motivated by leveraging deep customer insights, growing businesses, and developing talent and high-performing teams. Prior to Dude Solutions, Catherine was Executive Vice President of Global Marketing at PrecisionLender. She was also Vice President of Marketing at Citrix ShareFile, a product line that doubled revenue during her three-year tenure, and held a variety of marketing leadership roles with Intuit, the global leading provider of business and financial management solutions for small and mid-sized businesses, consumers and accounting professionals. She led teams across business lines and global expansion efforts in EMEA and APAC. Catherine holds an MBA from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts from UNC-Chapel Hill.

Matt Jackson

SVP CLIENT SUCCESS

Matt is a client operations leader with over 25 years’ experience in the software industry, specifically focused on the business to business SaaS space. With a passion for operational excellence and client satisfaction, Matt leads teams to improve bottom line results and delight clients through outstanding service delivery and eliminating sources of client friction. Prior to joining Dude Solutions, Matt founded and served as Principle Consultant at OpsVantage, working with global clients such as Precor, Amazon, Corbis, Fidelity, Thomson Reuters, and Microsoft.

Matt is a graduate of City University with a double major in computer science and project management and is proud to have served our country for six year in the US Navy.

Jodi McDermott

CHIEF PRODUCT OFFICER

Jodi McDermott is a passionate and data-driven product executive with 20+ years of experience in digital technology, analytics and product management. Jodi has led building products from idea to market launch with expertise in driving growth and leading successful divestures. Prior to joining Dude Solutions, Jodi worked at both start-up and established firms, including SHL (formerly a business unit of CEB, now Gartner), comScore, USA TODAY, Visual Sciences (acquired by Adobe) and AddThis (acquired by Oracle). She is passionate about building technology products with a strong emphasis of using data to drive user experience, design and the product development process.

Jodi is an active member of NextGen Venture Partners, a member of the American University Kogod Business School Information Technology Council and a director emeritus of the Digital Analytics Association, in which she served as both president and treasurer. She graduated from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and holds an MBA from American University.

Steve Shillingsburg

SVP Product Engineering

Steve Shillingsburg is a results-oriented leader passionate about innovation, transformation and disruption through technology. He has 20+ years of experience leading software and technology organizations through emergence, acquisitions and divestures, methodology rollouts, platform re-architectures, and technology consolidations. Prior to joining Dude Solutions, Steve held various global executive technology positions, including SVP of Engineering and Operations at PeopleFluent, a human capital management SaaS provider. He was also Vice President of R&D at Certara, providing pharmaceutical model based drug development software offerings, leading the organization through rapid growth by acquisition and technology transformation to the cloud. He also served as Vice President of Software Engineering for Thomson Reuters, where he was responsible for delivering disruptive product offerings in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Scranton.

Robin Wheeler

VP FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS

Robin is a seasoned finance professional with 20 years of experience, specializing in corporate financial planning & analysis, valuation and financial advisory services, and investment banking. As VP of FP&A, Robin is responsible for annual financial planning, forecasting, management and board reporting, while also serving as a trusted business partner to the leadership team and broader organization. Robin joined Dude Solutions in 2014 to create and lead the FP&A function following the company’s initial private equity investment. Prior to joining Dude Solutions, Robin served in multiple finance and consulting leadership roles with Citigroup, AlixPartners LLP and Banc of America Securities.

Scot Melland

DIRECTOR

Scot Melland is the former Chairman and CEO of DHI Group (NYSE: DHX), a global online recruiting firm, where he led the company through a successful turnaround, public offering and global expansion. Prior to Dice, Mr. Melland was Co-Founder and CEO of Vcommerce, an ecommerce software company (sold to Channel Intelligence/Google). Earlier, he was SVP Interactive Services at Cendant Corporation (now Affinion Group) where he built and managed a portfolio of profitable online businesses, including Match.com (now part of IAC) and Rent.net (now part of Move, Inc). Prior to Cendant, he served as VP of Investments & Alliances for Ameritech (now AT&T) making investments in early stage technology companies, Internet services and cable television. Mr. Melland began his career as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company.

In addition to DHI Group, Mr. Melland serves on the Board of Directors of MultiView, a B2B digital marketing company. He holds a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Justin Sadrian

DIRECTOR

Justin Sadrian joined Warburg Pincus in 2000 and is based in New York after leading the firm’s West Coast office from September 2012 until June 2016. Justin focuses on internet, software and information investments. Prior to joining the firm, Justin worked at J.P. Morgan in their investment banking and private equity groups. In addition to Dude Solutions, he is a Director of A Place for Mom, Avalara, Endurance International, The Gordian Group, MultiView, OfferUp, and PayScale. In addition, Justin is a Vice Chair of Friends of Hudson River Park. He received a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Jim Travers

DIRECTOR

James M. Travers has over 30 years of technology industry experience successfully building high growth global software services business in both the private and public sectors. He has led three publically traded companies through high growth phases which resulted in significant financial outcomes for investors. In 2006 Mr. Travers joined Fleetmatics LLC a privately held Irish based software Services Company as Chairman and CEO and has led the company through substantial revenue growth and profitability including their Initial Public Offering on NYSE/FLTX in 2012. Since going public the company’s financial performance over the last four years ranks it as one of the best performing publicly traded SaaS [software as a service] companies in the world. In 2016 Fleetmatics was selected by Fortune Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in the world. Today Fleetmatics operates globally in over ten countries, with over 37,000 customers and over 2000 employees. On November 30th 2016, Fleetmatics was acquired by Verizon Inc. for $2.4B in cash. Prior to joining Fleetmatics he served as SVP of the Americas of Geac Corporation a Toronto based global enterprise Software Company where he helped grow the company through a series of successful acquisitions in addition to delivering strong organic revenue growth. Geac was acquired by Golden Gate Capital in 2005 for $1.2B in cash. Prior to Geac, Mr. Travers was CEO and COO of Harbinger Corporation an Atlanta based global publically traded leading provider of e-commerce software and services. Harbinger was sold in a public to public transaction in 2000 to Peregrine Systems for $1.3B in stock. Mr. Travers also had a very successful 18 year career with Texas Instruments Inc. where he held senior executive level positions managing global businesses with full P/L responsibility. His tenure also includes significant positions and experience in sales, marketing and general management.

Jim Triandiflou

DIRECTOR

Jim Triandiflou has over 20 years of experience building companies as both a Senior Executive and Consultant to management. In addition to being a member of the Board of Directors for Dude Solutions, Mr. Triandiflou currently serves as the CEO of Relias Learning, the leading provider of online training for human services organizations. He previously acted as President and CEO of ServiceCEO, a field service software company with more than 6,500 customers around the world. Prior to ServiceCEO, Jim was Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Centive, a sales performance management software company that launched the industry’s first Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) commission system in 2005. He also served as COO of Stryker Orthopedics’ largest independent distributor, Surgi-Care. Jim has a BS in Marketing from State University of New York College at Oswego and an MBA from the Arizona State University Carey School of Business, which included coursework at the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird).

Jim is currently the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Special Olympics of North Carolina, is an Advisory Board member of Band Together, a nonprofit that uses live music as a platform for social change, and is a member of the Board of Directors of Navex Global, a Portland, OR based provider of ethics and compliance software. Jim was a “Wish Grantor” for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts and he had the privilege of granting 6 children’s wishes.
