Ed Roshitsh - Chief Executive Officer

Ed Roshitsh As a seasoned software company executive, Ed has led teams that have contributed to significant growth at five successive SaaS companies. He has helped grow revenues, customer satisfaction and shareholder value at companies including Blackbaud (BLKB), Vertafore, and PointClickCare. Over the last 20 years, he has built and coached high-performance teams serving the application needs of Not For Profits, Education, Government and Senior Living. Ed is a board member at Intelex and acts as an advisor to two start-up software companies. He is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University and is proud to have served our country for five years in the US Air Force.


Kent Hudson - Executive Chairman & Co-Founder

Kent Hudson A technology veteran and dedicated entrepreneur, Dude Solutions co-founder Kent Hudson serves as Executive Chairman. Since originally co-founding SchoolDude in 1999, Kent has been a driving force in the company’s rapid growth and expansion as a leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider of operations management solutions. Kent has brought together a strong and talented team that has revolutionized the operations management industry and is consistently recognized as one of the fastest growing companies and best places to work in North Carolina’s Triangle area. Prior to founding Dude Solutions, Kent spent 20+ years setting the strategic direction as CEO and president for organizations including Applied Computer Technologies (ACT) and INDUS International. Kent is a magna cum laude graduate from North Carolina State University’s Chemical Engineering and Pulp and Paper Science and Technology programs.


Lee Prevost - Chief Strategy Officer & Co-Founder

Lee Prevost A passionate and forward-thinking leader with nearly 30 years of experience in software and technology, Dude Solutions co-founder Lee Prevost serves as Chief Strategy Officer and a member of the board. Lee works closely with the executive team to set the vision, mission and strategies for Dude Solutions and is responsible for identifying growth opportunities that drive significant value across the company. He co-founded and launched SchoolDude with CEO Kent Hudson in 1999 and FacilityDude in 2007. Serving as SchoolDude’s president for 15 years, Lee has been pivotal to developing Dude Solutions into an enterprise asset management leader. Prior to SchoolDude, he worked for Applied Computer Technologies (ACT) and Honeywell Home and Building Controls. Lee earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.


Tom Knox - Chief Revenue Officer

Tom Knox A results-oriented leader with a successful track record in pioneering new markets and revenue opportunities, Tom Knox serves as Dude Solutions’ Chief Revenue Officer. Tom is responsible for integrating and aligning all Dude Solutions’ revenue-related functions to drive profitable growth. As part of the team that founded FacilityDude, Tom has been integral to the growth and success of Dude Solutions. He served as president of FacilityDude for nearly a decade where he helped the company become a disruptive player and market leader. Tom’s 30+ year executive career in the facility management and building automation industries includes previously serving as a vice president for Strategic Resource Solutions, a Carolina Power & Light subsidiary that today is a wholly owned subsidiary of Duke Energy, and president of Diversified Control Systems, Inc. Tom holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication and Religion from Wake Forest University.


Karen Bertaux - Chief Financial Officer

Karen Bertaux As a seasoned Corporate Executive / CFO with a 20+ year career of progressive growth, Karen has demonstrated the ability to positively influence both the financial and operational aspects of the business. She has diverse experiences including, strategic planning, equity analysis, debt refinancing, private placement funding, S-1 prospectus preparation, venture financing, aggressive merger and acquisition strategies, operational consolidations, and judicial reorganization. She has led a variety of functional areas in Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Contracts Administration. Prior to joining Dude Solutions, Karen held a variety of executive finance positions in the technology industry, including CFO of AvidXchange which she was instrumental in closing a $225M recapitalization and CFO of AGDATA which she successfully led a sale process of the company in 2014. Prior to AGDATA she was the CFO of Consonus Technologies, Inc., and CFO of Strategic Technologies, Inc., both based in Raleigh NC. Karen is a CPA and received her BS in Accounting from Frostburg State University in Maryland.


Ian Chiu - Director

Ian Chiu Ian Chiu is a Principal at Warburg Pincus and focuses on investments in the technology, software, and education sectors. He is currently on the board of directors of Dude Solutions, Stratford Schools and Liaison International. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, he was an investment professional at Silver Lake Partners and a consultant at Bain & Company. He also helped launch BigMachines, a leading configure, price, quote (CPQ) software as a service (SaaS) vendor, where he served as its business development manager. Mr. Chiu holds a B.S., with distinction, and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. He also earned an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.


Gayle Crowell - Director

Gayle Crowell Gayle Crowell is based in San Francisco and has been a senior business consultant on the technology, media and telecommunications team since joining Warburg Pincus in 2001. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Crowell was President and CEO of RightPoint Software, acquired by E.piphany in January 2000. Previously, Ms. Crowell held senior executive roles at Oracle Corporation, E.piphany, RightPoint Software, View Star, Mosaix, Recognition International, DSC, and Cubix Corporation. Ms. Crowell graduated summa cum laude from the University of Nevada at Reno with a B.A., has completed post-graduate work at the University of California-Irvine and Berkeley, and is a graduate of the Stanford University Executive Education CEO Program. She is a director of Yodlee (YDLE), Dude Solutions, Mercury Gate and Coyote Logistics. In addition, Ms. Crowell is the co-founder of ConservingNow.com, a trustee of the Desert Research Foundation, and Chairman of Watermark, a non-profit organization of leading Silicon Valley woman CEOs and C-level executives.


Scot Melland - Director

Scot Melland Scot Melland is the former Chairman and CEO of DHI Group (NYSE: DHX), a global online recruiting firm, where he led the company through a successful turnaround, public offering and global expansion. Prior to Dice, Mr. Melland was Co-Founder and CEO of Vcommerce, an ecommerce software company (sold to Channel Intelligence/Google). Earlier, he was SVP Interactive Services at Cendant Corporation (now Affinion Group) where he built and managed a portfolio of profitable online businesses, including Match.com (now part of IAC) and Rent.net (now part of Move, Inc). Prior to Cendant, he served as VP of Investments & Alliances for Ameritech (now AT&T) making investments in early stage technology companies, Internet services and cable television. Mr. Melland began his career as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company.

In addition to DHI Group, Mr. Melland serves on the Board of Directors of MultiView, a B2B digital marketing company. He holds a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.


Justin Sadrian - Director

Justin Sadrian Justin Sadrian joined Warburg Pincus in 2000 and is based in New York after leading the firm’s West Coast office from September 2012 until June 2016. Justin focuses on internet, software and information investments. Prior to joining the firm, Justin worked at J.P. Morgan in their investment banking and private equity groups. In addition to Dude Solutions, he is a Director of A Place for Mom, Avalara, Endurance International, The Gordian Group, MultiView, OfferUp, and PayScale. In addition, Justin is a Vice Chair of Friends of Hudson River Park. He received a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.


Jim Travers - Director

Jim Travers James M. Travers has over 30 years of technology industry experience successfully building high growth global software services business in both the private and public sectors. He has led three publically traded companies through high growth phases which resulted in significant financial outcomes for investors. In 2006 Mr. Travers joined Fleetmatics LLC a privately held Irish based software Services Company as Chairman and CEO and has led the company through substantial revenue growth and profitability including their Initial Public Offering on NYSE/FLTX in 2012. Since going public the company’s financial performance over the last four years ranks it as one of the best performing publically traded SaaS [Software as a service] companies in the world. In 2016 Fleetmatics was selected by Fortune Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in the world. Today Fleetmatics operates globally in over ten countries, with over 37,000 customers and over 2000 employees. On November 30th 2016, Fleetmatics was acquired by Verizon Inc. for $2.4B in cash. Prior to joining Fleetmatics he served as SVP of the Americas of Geac Corporation a Toronto based global enterprise Software Company where he helped grow the company through a series of successful acquisitions in addition to delivering strong organic revenue growth. Geac was acquired by Golden Gate Capital in 2005 for $1.2B in cash. Prior to Geac, Mr. Travers was CEO and COO of Harbinger Corporation an Atlanta based global publically traded leading provider of e-commerce software and services. Harbinger was sold in a public to public transaction in 2000 to Peregrine Systems for $1.3B in stock. Mr. Travers also had a very successful 18 year career with Texas Instruments Inc. where he held senior executive level positions managing global businesses with full P/L responsibility. His tenure also including significant positions and experience in sales, marketing and general management.


Jim Triandiflou - Director

Jim Triandiflou Jim Triandiflou has over 20 years of experience building companies as both a Senior Executive and Consultant to management. In addition to being a member of the Board of Directors for Dude Solutions, Mr. Triandiflou currently serves as the CEO of Relias Learning, the leading provider of online training for human services organizations. He previously acted as President and CEO of ServiceCEO, a field service software company with more than 6,500 customers around the world. Prior to ServiceCEO, Jim was Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Centive, a sales performance management software company that launched the industry’s first Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) commission system in 2005. He also served as COO of Stryker Orthopedics’ largest independent distributor, Surgi-Care. Jim has a BS in Marketing from State University of New York College at Oswego and an MBA from the Arizona State University Carey School of Business, which included coursework at the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird).

Jim is currently the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Special Olympics of North Carolina, is an Advisory Board member of Band Together, a nonprofit that uses live music as a platform for social change, and is a member of the Board of Directors of Navex Global, a Portland, OR based provider of ethics and compliance software. Jim was a “Wish Grantor” for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts and he had the privilege of granting 6 children’s wishes.
