You may have heard that it’s our 20th birthday at Dude Solutions, and we’re celebrating all year long!  

A very important piece of the celebration is looking at the impact our clients have made throughout the years. It’s quite a footprint!

That’s definitely how it is for Kendal at Ithaca Continuing Care Retiring Community in Ithaca, New York who uses Dude Solutions’ software, TheWorxHubTM.

They are a CCRC (or continuing care retirement community) with a 105-acre campus – which is plenty to take care of for their Facility Services team. 

So, here’s how Kendal at Ithaca has gained efficiency: 

  • Lowered 30-day turnaround for resident rooms to 5 days (industry standard is 2 weeks!) 

  • Gained 6 full-time maintenance, grounds people and housekeepers for a new repositioning project (they used the data to prove their need) 

  • Technicians can complete their own work orders and see all the info they need on their mobile device (a huge time and hassle savings) 

  • Use reports to keep committees informed on their work (leading to fewer complaints with more communication)  

All these efficiencies mean that their Facility Services team can deliver better service overall, which leads to a better community and happier residents (and family members).
