I know FS Direct can operate as a stand alone system. If you use IT and/or Maintenance Direct, there should be an option in FS Direct set up to automate the incident creation for tasks. If an approved schedule request contains a service request, the incident should be immediately created for the other modules. In our situation it would mean the IT and Maintenance supervisors would not have to monitor, nor respond to FS Direct emails, etc. Incidents would show up in our "main" tools respectively.
