I Manage two Work Centers where all online requests are edited and assigned. I manage over 5 Work Control employees on separate campus locations. I really would like to be able to limit each campus to only seeing those respective location's work orders. However they are all set as Clerk I as this is the setting with the best access for their jobs. I do not want to give them much more access than this (We had this with our previous software - to many cooks in the kitchen, and we had a cluttered mess). I am the only Site Admin, and it will remain this way for various reasons.
After investigating and speaking with support, the closest option to what I do want for my employees is Supervisor II, HOWEVER if I changed to this permission, they would no longer be able to edit or assign work to anything who doesn't direct report to them. This is unfortunate because we manage over a very large work force, and all our employees already directly report to their managers in SchoolDude.
I wish there was a way to keep Supervisor II in particular the same as it is, just have an option in the role setup to choose whether or not the users with this permission can assign work orders to anyone and edit those work orders as well. If they could, it would be perfect!!
I was told when I purchased MD, we could separate by location/campus and yes you can, however it is very restrictive and the feature doesn't work well for us...
