The Alabama Association of School Business Officials (AASBO) and SchoolDude today announced a partnership to provide affordable, web-based maintenance, facilities and IT management solutions to school districts throughout Alabama.
The partnership enables AASBO member districts to purchase SchoolDude’s web-based applications at affordable discounted rates. SchoolDude’s products are designed specifically for schools and include solutions for work order processing, preventive maintenance, energy management, capital planning, facility usage scheduling, inventory management, technology incident management, and field trip management. SchoolDude’s application services are delivered over the Internet, making the technology affordable for both small and large school districts.
“We believe the use of technology and business process automation is a best practice Alabama schools should follow to operate most efficiently. We’ve identified SchoolDude as the best choice for our members,” said David Smith, executive director of AASBO. “It is easy to implement and allows our members to gain additional productivity and cost savings.” A number of our school districts are already utilizing SchoolDude and we believe this automation is essential to good facility management
