I've worked on the marketing team at SchoolDude since 2013. I currently am the Public K-12 Marketing Manager and serve the Public K-12 market with helpful resources and trends that can help them in their day-to-day work. I work closely with the sales organization and several other departments to ensure clients and the public have a clear understanding of what SchoolDude does and the benefits our solutions provide to educational institutions. It’s exciting to work in marketing everyday and see clients succeed and schools benefit from using SchoolDude. I grew up in Virginia and graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Business- Wahoowa!
We know Operations and Maintenance at educational
institutions can often be a thankless job. Students and faculty just see
everything operating as it should and only notice when something is wrong.
Therefore, it’s great to see when Operations Departments can celebrate successes, like Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. The
team at Plymouth State University provided year-end numbers for its Business
Office, showing less than a 1% loss of
total inventory value for Fiscal
Typically, inventory warehouses hope for a 1-3% loss or
adjustment, and often see a 5-8% loss. Kelli Kemery, Business Operations
Manager at Plymouth State University, reported a year-end adjustment of just
.53%, or $1,076 of their total $201,802 of inventory. The directors and
Operations Department were thrilled to see performance at this level and the
resulting savings in their budget.
The university uses SchoolDude’s maintenance management solutions for corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance and
inventory management. The tools allow Kelli’s department to operate efficiently,
track all warehouse items, and tie items used to specific work
Kelli shared what these results mean for her department - “Having great numbers allows us to be more
accurate with what is going out the door for material costs related to
warehouse and our operations.”
