I had the opportunity to become a member of the “Dude family” over 6 years ago and today I’m proudly a Senior Client Success Advocate on the Success Operations team. My job is to proactively work with our clients to help make sure they are armed with all the resources and knowledge they need to be successful with their SchoolDude solutions. You may recognize my name (or voice) from the monthly SuccessOps webinar series or from SchoolDude’s very own podcast. Chesterfield County Public Schools right outside of Richmond, VA, was eager to streamline their entire workflow process, increase transparency and communication and to have relevant data right at their finger-tips. The district gave me the opportunity earlier this month to spend a few days onsite to help them accomplish these goals and empower them to make strong, data-driven decisions!
I worked with Chesterfield closely to help lay the foundation for their MaintenanceDirect account, from basic setup to changes in their workflow process and everything in between. During our working session, we did back-to-back group trainings. It was very interactive with lots of questions and sharing of tips – by the end, the group at Chesterfield really grasped the online work order system.
And not only are they streamlining their workflow process by leveraging the automatic routing process in MaintenanceDirect, but they’ve also made the decision to make their trades mobile to increase time-savings and the team’s efficiency! Each tradesman was issued an iPad and prior to our SchoolDude training, CCPS had their maintenance team complete a professional development course focused on using the iPad to insure they were setup for success with the tablet. The team’s comfort level with the iPad before my arrival helped the sessions demonstrating how to use MaintenanceDirect in conjunction with the iPad run very smoothly! The maintenance team will now be able to receive and complete work orders throughout the day regardless of their location.
I am thrilled to have been a part of Chesterfield County Public School’s implementation of MaintenanceDirect and look forward to seeing their continued success! A big thank you to everyone at the district for welcoming me with such open arms!
