I’m the collective knowledge embodied in all of you, our SchoolDude clients! You are more than just dudes and dudettes. You are valued members of the SchoolDude team. As for me, I’m your mascot! I represent the collection of experiences and knowledge that you, our clients have gained in managing their institution’s operations. I’m a symbol that ensures that the knowledge will be shared with those who will follow you. The symbol of keeping the faith, staying the course, and never ever quitting.

There is so much to take in at SchoolDude University. From the variety of awesome classes, to the regional networking opportunities and socials-this conference offers a little something for everyone.
Perhaps one of the biggest standout hits this year has been the Client Service led Learning Lab. Yesterday, the lab was bustling as at least a few hundred visitors filed through. The lab can seat up to 60 people at a time and is great way for clients to get their questions answered in a one-on-one setting.
Christine Fisher, of McHenry County College stopped by for some help with their account setup. Fisher has been using SchoolDude for a year now, but wanted to ensure that they were maximizing usage. Christine said that the CSC team was "very helpful!" She will also be bringing back information for the college maintenance team that is about to begin use of PMDirect.
"This place is great!" says John Gann, who is visiting SchoolDude University from Keller ISD. "I've been in about half a dozen times and always leave with my questions answered!" We are also fortunate enough to have John here to lead a class on playground safety. John has brought with him a lot of new information and great ideas on new playground safety standards, so be sure to stop by his class and say hello.
Sharon Strong, from Oberlin College in Ohio, was in the lab to talk with Success Opps employee, Paul Fletcher. Sharon and the team at Oberlin have been using UtilityDirect for the last year. "It has been our first year with the product, so I am here to learn more about metering and how we can maximize reporting in the second year."
According to Adam Johnson, a 7 year SchoolDude University veteran and Client Service team member, reporting is always a hot topic in the learning lab. Adam believes that this tends to be a popular topic because schools want to be sure that they are making the most of the data that they are able to collect in their SchoolDude products. When it comes to collecting data for reporting, PlanningDirect seems to be the standout product in the Learning Lab this year. PlanningDirect enables schools to collect and report on data that can be used for budget forecasting and capital planning.
Do have product questions that you still need answered? Be sure to stop by and say hi to the SchoolDude CSC team in the Learning Lab! The lab is located in the heart of the conference center, in the same location as registration.
