I’m the collective knowledge embodied in all of you, our SchoolDude clients! You are more than just dudes and dudettes. You are valued members of the SchoolDude team. As for me, I’m your mascot! I represent the collection of experiences and knowledge that you, our clients have gained in managing their institution’s operations. I’m a symbol that ensures that the knowledge will be shared with those who will follow you. The symbol of keeping the faith, staying the course, and never ever quitting.
Find The Dude on Google+
Beginning in December, we will begin transitioning elements of the SchoolDude website into the larger picture of the Dude Solutions family. We will be simplifying some elements (e.g., find content easier through categories vs. groups) in addition to upgrading features you already use.
In order to facilitate the transition, portions of the SchoolDude Community will be temporarily read-only.
MyDude Pages: Many members access the Community from the "MyDude" tab in some SchoolDude applications. Minor features of this page will be temporarily disabled during our transition, primarily the display on how many messages are in your inbox, as we begin a technical upgrade to security, enhance the "single sign-on" experience, upgrading displays of relevant content and modifying pages based upon a product suite's focus and your role (e.g., energy vs. IT vs. maintenance).
Product Ideas: we are evaluating an updated approach to allow more direct interaction to and from product management. If tests perform well, we will make an announcement.
Blogs: newest blogs have been posted on the Dude Solutions' website. We will be merging the two blogs together, updating the groupings of posts, enhancing categories and performing a cleanup of the historical items for keeping vs. archiving vs. updating.
Discussions/Q&A: we are evaluating a more straightforward approach vs. the variety of groups
Community Expansion: in 2018, the Community will will expand beyond the education market to include other member types. Some topics will be categorized to stay in education only, yet some topics (e.g., professional development) are relevant to everyone. While industry and market inputs and outputs may differ, many business processes have similarities. We have heard from multiple groups they are interested in how other groups address certain business or property management topics while maintaining a focus on some topics that will be industry-specific. With this in mind, you may notice some categories of content change in discussions, blogs and more to show or hide topics by market and focus.
Great things are coming and we look forward to enhancing communications, sharing ideas and providing you the best in a community experience!
