Payment, Cancellations & Substitutions
- Written cancellations received by email@example.com before March 31, 2020 receive a full refund. No refunds are issued after this date.
- Conference attendee substitutions will be accepted through April 24, 2020.
- The $200 spouse/guest fee is valid for the Sunday and Tuesday evening networking events.
- The fee does not entitle the guest to attend the full conference, meals or other events outside of the two evening events mentioned above.
- If you have multiple employees of an organization, they must register for the full conference fee to attend the sessions, the learning lab and all networking events.
- Only one guest/spouse per conference attendee is permitted.
- Minors under the age of 21 are not permitted to attend Sunday night for liability reasons.
Where is Dude University 2020?
Dude University 2020 will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center. The address is 500 S Salisbury St, Raleigh, NC 27601
Will there be another Dude University in 2020?
No, Dude University in Raleigh is the only University in 2020.
What are the conference dates?
May 3-6, 2020.
When can I register?
Registration is open now! It will close on April 24, 2020 or at sell-out.

Are there discounted hotel rooms for conference attendees?
Yes! We work with five hotels near the convention center to bring discounted rates for our attendees. These rates are offered only while available or the rate expires. Specific expiration dates are listed with each hotel.
What payment types are accepted?
Credit card, purchase orders and checks are all accepted methods of payment for conference registration. For purchase orders, please supply a PO number to complete registration.
All conference registration fees must be paid in full before the conference, by May 1, 2020.
Are there any discounts available?
There are no discounts offered for Dude University 2020.
What meals are included?
Conference attendance includes following meals:
- Sunday: Dinner
- Monday: Breakfast, lunch
- Tuesday: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
- Wednesday: Breakfast
Do I have to pay for parking?
Yes. All hotels have a daily parking fee, and parking in a convention center deck is approximately $7 per entry.
Cancellation & Substitution Policies
What is the cancellation policy?
If you are unable to attend, we must receive a written request to firstname.lastname@example.org by March 31, 2020, to receive a full refund. No refunds are issued after this date.
Can I transfer my registration to a colleague?
Conference attendee substitutions will be accepted through April 24, 2020.
Can I bring a guest or family member?
Guests are welcome at Dude University. There is a $200 guest fee to attend the Sunday and Tuesday evening networking events. Minors under the age of 21 are not permitted. Guests are not invited to attend sessions or any other meals.
What kind of sessions can I expect?
The curriculum is designed to provide professional development for people in all areas of operations, including maintenance, energy, technology, safety and business. Courses will address industry topics and provide valuable training applicable
to operations professionals of all levels, including directors and managers, administrators, supervisors, technicians and office staff.
Is pre-registration for classes and sessions mandatory?
There is no pre-registration for sessions, but you may find it helpful to review the schedule prior to the event to maximize your time.
What are Certifications Exams? Do I have to sign up for those?
Certification exams are not mandatory. Please visit our Certification Exam page for more details
Can I get Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for attending Dude University?
Yes, you can! A certificate can be provided to you on request after the conference. Just email email@example.com.

What is the recommended attire for the conference?
Casual or business casual attire is recommended for all conference functions.
