Fast 40 List and NC TECH Awards Demonstrate Longstanding Commitment to North Carolina

CARY, N.C. – October 5, 2023 – Brightly Software, the global leader in intelligent asset management solutions, was recognized by two prestigious awards honoring successful companies in North Carolina. Brightly's inclusion on the 2023 North Carolina Mid-Market Fast 40 list and its finalist status for the NC TECH Awards in the North Carolina-Headquartered Tech Company of the Year category reflect the company's exceptional growth and client focus.

The North Carolina Mid-Market Fast 40 list recognizes the fastest-growing middle-market companies in North Carolina that demonstrate exceptional entrepreneurial spirit, innovative business strategies, and outstanding revenue growth.

“We’re proud to receive this honor, especially as one of the few SaaS technology companies on this year’s list,” said Kevin Kemmerer, chief executive officer at Brightly. "This marks the eighth time Brightly has been acknowledged by this prestigious award, and it stands as a testament to our consistent growth and leadership in the region."

The recognition as a finalist for the NC TECH Awards further underscores Brightly's commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology both locally and globally. Similar to the Mid-Market Fast 40 list, the NC TECH Awards recognize outstanding technology companies throughout the region for their innovation, excellence, and growth.

"We're proud to call North Carolina our home for over 20 years, and are proud to continue growing our global team. This nomination reaffirms our commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology in Cary and beyond,” said Erikka Buracchio, chief people officer at Brightly.

Brightly’s journey of growth over the last year includes the acquisition of Toronto-based Energy Profiles Limited (EPL), expanding its energy and sustainability data management capabilities. Additionally, global leader Siemens acquired Brightly in 2023, a monumental acquisition that elevated Siemens Smart Infrastructure (SI) to a leading position in the software market for buildings and infrastructure.

While expanding its global footprint, Brightly remains deeply committed to the communities where its employees reside and work. Collaborating with North Carolina clients across diverse sectors including education, healthcare, and government, Brightly has catalyzed transformative improvements in efficiency, savings, and infrastructure management. Institutions including Wake Forest University, the City of Sanford, and the City of Asheboro have all experienced the positive impact of Brightly's innovative solutions.
